El "Bolero" fue encargado y dedicado a la famosa bailarina rusa Ida Rubinstein. Alguna vez Ravel le dijo a Honnegger: "Yo he escrito solo una obra maestra: Bolero...Lastima que ésta no contenga música..." Son 16 repeticiones de una melodía en un Do mayor continuo (con excepción de algunos compases al final). De eso es de notar que la orquesta termina grandilocuentemente con un imponente y poderoso glisando de los trombones. Bolero was commissioned by and dedicated to the famous Russian ballerina Ida Rubinstein. Said Ravel to Honneger "..I have written only one asterpiece. That is Bolero. Unafortunately it contains no musica!" He was right for the piece is only a constant repetition (16 times) of a melody in the persistenly kept basic key of C major (except for a few measures at the end). A gradual release of orchestral powers climaxes in the growl of the terrifyng trombone glissandi at the conclusion.

Maurice Ravel은 음악에 대한 그의 큰 헌신으로 역대 가장 인정받는 작곡가 중 한 명입니다.

 

볼레로는 그녀의 모습을 더욱 강화했습니다.

이 음악은 1927 년 러시아 댄서이자 안무가 인 Ida Rubinstein이 Ravel이 "스페인 캐릭터의 발레"를 제작하도록 의뢰했을 때 만들어졌습니다.

 

이 작품은 절대 변하지 않는 리듬과 템포를 가진 강박적인 멜로디의 일종 인 다장조의 오스티 나토가 특징입니다.

이 멜로디는 수정없이 계속 반복되며, 크레센도를 생성하는 오케스트레이션 요소 만 다릅니다.

 

Ravel에게는 단순한 작품 이었지만 그 뒤에는 그때까지 보지 못했던 오리지널 작품이있었습니다. 볼레로는 1928 년 11 월 22 일 초연되었으며 전 세계적으로 큰 성공을 거두었습니다.

Project of Marine Gandon, Ghislain Roffat & Pierre-Olivier Schmitt During three weeks, between August and September of 2013, musicians of the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) were in Sao Paulo for pedagogical activities with teachers and students of Tom Jobim EMESP and Guri. The exchange is the result of a partnership between the Santa Marcelina Cultura and the prestigious french Institution. One of the results of the project was the execution of Ravel's Bolero in the shape of a flashmob, at the Pinacoteca do Estado, on 14th September. Durante três semanas, entre agosto e setembro de 2013, músicos do Conservatório de Paris estiveram em São Paulo para atividades pedagógicas com professores e alunos da EMESP Tom Jobim e do Guri. O intercâmbio é fruto de parceria entre a Santa Marcelina Cultura e a prestigiada instituição francesa. Como um dos resultados deste intercâmbio, surgiu o flashmob Bolero de Ravel na Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo.
